A.I.M. To Empower is a 501(c)(3) that was formed in 2016 with the mission to renew wholeness through movement, presence, and self-study. Their yoga classes center around the three practices and techniques of Baptiste yoga: Asana, Inquiry, and Meditation, and are free to participants, throughout the Lancaster, York and Harrisburg areas. A.I.M. to Empower builds community through partnerships. Volunteer, certified yoga instructors teach yoga outside of the studio and bring it to organizations of all age groups that serve education, mental health, prison systems, addiction recovery, youth intervention, teen parenting, transitional housing, and so much more.

Our Work with A.I.M. TO EMPOWER

The original A.I.M. To Empower logo included a circle shape, however it didn’t represent a powerful community-building nonprofit that’s mission is to renew wholeness through movement, presence, and self-study. Throughout our design process we kept coming back to the number 3. There is the Baptiste yoga component of Asana, inquiry, and meditation, there is the movement, presence, and self-study, and lastly there is the instructor, student, and piece of meditation or yoga that creates the connection. So, 3 circles with a solid, wide, san-serif font are powerful pillar-like representations of a community effort to empower individuals experiencing transformation, rehabilitation and self discovery. Then, the muted greens and teals brought an open, softness to the whole concept of enhancing an individual's physical and mental health through a personal journey of renewal. Tied together, we rebranded A.I.M. To Empower with a solid, yet simple brand that stands out amongst nonprofits in the area.

We have a new brand, now we want the world to know, or at least the communities and partnerships A.I.M. To Empower wanted to serve. And, of course the volunteers they would need to make it happen. We accomplished brand awareness through content development, design, social media and a brand new website. The A.I.M. To Empower website includes a password protected portion for volunteers, a resource center for partnerships to use as a digital reference during the pandemic, and a blog where volunteers can share their experiences. With the right resources in place and a strong brand presence, AIM to Empower can further their mission and impact more lives through their transformative services.
