Two York-based nonprofits saw what we’d done with YRK Magazine and tapped us to bring that same energy to their own publications.
We helped rename, redesign, and relaunch YoCo Connect with the York County Economic Alliance—turning a dated chamber magazine into a fresh, people-centered print piece. Shortly after, Downtown Inc. brought us in for design and photography support to elevate their own community-focused publication. Both organizations saw increased readership, ad sales, and membership as a result.
Our collaboration resulted in an upgraded print design that called out pertinent information in a more stylized, modern way. Alongside the revamped design, we art-directed custom photography shoots to create a distinctive photography style throughout the magazine. Also, we provided copy for the cover story for each issue.

Instead of tossing Yoco Connect and Downtown Inc. to the wayside, the York community stopped scrolling on their phones and started picking up these newly improved magazines! With engagement at an all time high, both organizations increased membership and advertising partnerships as a result of their work with the LUMI team.
